Martial arts students with a champion mindset know the value of setting goals and taking massive action.  They realize that in order to reach their true potential they must take the initiative to make things happen.

We all know people that make excuses for not achieving their goals or getting the job done.  They blame other people or circumstances for their lack of progress.  They will sell you on every reason why they couldn’t get the desired result.  But in the end, it’s all a bunch of excuses.

"There are those in the ranks who will stay in the ranks! Why? I'll tell you why: 'Simply because they haven't the ability to get things done!'"
~ Dale Carnegie

“If it’s to be...it is up to me” is a no excuses mindset.  It’s about taking consistent action and making things happen.

When obstacles come up, champions stay positive and proactive.  They may need to adjust the plan or the timeframe but they still see the project or goal through until it has been accomplished.

No blaming, no excuses, and no whining!  It’s all about accepting 100% responsibility and taking massive action.

When it’s time to go to class..GO!

When it’s time to get your homework done…get it done and give it your best effort!

When it’s time to make a healthy food choice so you can maintain your ideal weight...make the right call!

Don’t wait...create!  Make no excuses and repeat to yourself “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME!”

"I grew up in a rough neighborhood in New Jersey.  I hung around kids that were mostly trouble and saw some things that kids my age probably shouldn’t see.  I knew I had to change or face the consequences of living a life of cheap thrills and crime.  At 14, I started training martial arts.  I quickly took a liking in the arts because they showed me in the path of strength but also personal development"
